Welcome to Sensible Secondhand Classics, the series where we take a sensible classic car worth between £1000 and £5000 and put it through its paces in a very straightforward manner! This time we test a 1968 MG Midget Mark III and try to get to grips with no synchromesh on first gear, no servo assistance for the brakes, a very wobbly camera mount, very restricted door openings, massive amounts of noise, drive incompetently and generally experience little of any consequence at all. Nothing untoward then!
