How to approach and overtake safely a horse and rider on country roads. It is so important for you as a driver to be able to overtake the horse and rider safely for two reasons. Firstly the safe and well being of the horse and horse rider and secondly for the legal reason.
Approaching the horse and horse rider at a slow speed(10mph or less) looking far ahead on the road to safely overtake(2 metres).
If you don't overtake safely and correctly, then you could end up in court if the horse or rider is injured.
