Synthesis of Al2O3 --- HCl-Baking Soda-Aluminium

Hello everyone and welcome back to chemIst by deStinY! In today's video we're doing something that one of our subscribers (Toushar Gopaul) proposed. It is a very simpe procedure to obtain Al2O3, a widely use substance in the industry.

For the following experiment you are going to require HCl, which you can easily find as a pH lowerer, Sodium Bicarbonate or Baking Soda and some Aluminium, which is found in the shiny tin foil paper.
The reaction between AlCl3 and NaHCO3 is endotermic so you can heat the beaker to make it faster.
