Is it expensive to honeymoon in Fiji? Yes. Fiji is an expensive place to vacation.
What to Expect in Fiji...

HOW TO GET AROUND IN FIJI
There are two main islands, Viti Levu and Vanua Levu. We chose to fly into Nadi, which is the main transportation hub on Viti Levu. From Nadi, we were able to easily explore the popular island chains, Mamanuca and Yasawa.
The experience you’ll have out on the islands is worth the trip from Nadi. This is where you’ll find the iconic beaches that you expect when you go to Fiji. There will be a big price difference between staying on the mainland vs. a private island resort, but if you can fit it into your budget, you won’t be disappointed.
The Mamanuca island chain is a little closer to Port Denarau than the Yasawa islands so prices will fluctuate based on your proximity to the main port. To give you an example, To get to Liku Liku resort, which is in the Mamanuca chain, Helicopter and air transport starts at $700 per person roundtrip. A private speedboat will cost you about $1,000 round trip for 2-4 people. And the public ferry is a little over $100 per person roundtrip. These numbers are approximate and vary depending on how far your island is from the mainland.

FIJI RESORTS
What’s the best resort for your Fiji honeymoon? It’s worth splurging on a high-end resort on one of the gorgeous private islands in the Mamanuca or Yasawa island chains. We absolutely fell IN LOVE with Liku Liku resort, which is one of the only resorts in Fiji with the iconic over-water bungalows.
When choosing the best resort in Fiji for your honeymoon, be sure to research how to get there and the cost of transportation. Make sure it’s an Adults Only Resort

WHAT TO DO IN FIJI
Fiji is a place where you go to relax, sit by the beach, go for a swim, drink fancy cocktails, and be pampered at a high-end resort. Which is arguably the best way to honeymoon. If you need a little more excitement than sitting by a pool, Fiji does offer that too! There are incredible places to snorkel and scuba dive that can be reached right off shore. We highly recommend the scuba and snorkeling company at Barefoot Kuata, in the Yasawa island chain. We chose to stay overnight in a beachfront tent so that we could snorkel with reef sharks the first afternoon and then scuba dive the following day.
In addition to snorkeling, you can usually kayak and paddleboard right off shore if your resort has the equipment available. There are also some really exciting cultural dances with fire, which your resort can usually arrange for you.
So between relaxing in a tropical paradise, being surrounded by some of the friendliest people in the world, having tons of fun activities to keep you occupied, and a selection of some of the world’s most luxurious resorts, we can confidently say that Fiji is the perfect honeymoon destination.
