HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR HORSE IN A HEAT WAVE || Keeping Horses Cool In Hot Weather

With the first day of the most recent heatwave being underway here in the UK, thought this video may help you with how to help keep your horse cool in hot weather !

I thought it would be a nice idea to go through what I have been, and will continue to do, with my horses over the last few days of hot weather.

The video goes through everything I could think of. I'd like to say that this isn't just my opinion, this is backed by Dr David Marlin and his research on effective cooling for horses. Anything I do, I like to have a scientific basis for why it's good, or why we should do things this way etc and Dr David Marlin is giving out lots of FREE advice on the topic. If you have some how never heard of him or his work, you should take a look.

Everything I mention in the video, I will leave a link to below so you can check it out and have a read yourself. Some are behind a paywall, but it is well worth it and gives you access to the whole site not just the one article.
