In this video we cover basic directory commands in Terminal on the MacBook Air.

To get into terminal press Command + Space Bar. Then type in Terminal to locate and open the application.

Basic commands covered are:

ls to list the contents of the current directory
mkdir to make a directory
rmdir to remove the directory
cd to move up to the parent directory/folder

Many application installs refer to changes to certain files using terminal.
