Sisters Reunited Through DNA

Collette always knew she was adopted — her parents never hid that from her. They would say things like, “when we got you” instead of “when you were born”. She knew that she was different from her family and that she didn’t resemble either of her parents. From a very early age, Collette wanted to know whom she resembled to find out more about her birth family. At age 65, Collette’s good friend, Holly, proposed a new solution — to try MyHeritage DNA. After six weeks, the results came back and they opened them together. MyHeritage referred Collette to Legacy Tree Genealogists who offer genealogy and DNA research services.
