30+ Cars Destroyed By Storage Yard Fire In National City

08.27.2019 | 12:58 PM | NATIONAL CITY - More than thirty vehicles were either destroyed or severely damaged after a fire broke out at a car storage yard, Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities responded to multiple calls reporting a fire at a Frank's Toyota storage yard in the 3200 block of Hoover Avenue around 12:58 PM.

Crews arriving on scene found multiple vehicles engulfed in flames within the storage yard and began efforts to attack the flames.

Many of the vehicles that burned appeared to be brand-new prompting an arson investigation.

No injuries were reported to firefighters or civilians.
