Four individuals (with roots) from Trinidad, Haiti, Netherlands and China have a tasting of various popular treats from Cape Verde, D.R. Congo, Malawi, Algeria, Mali and Guinea-Bissau. Watch their reactions and stay tuned until the end to find out which of the snacks is their favorite! The following treats are tried out:
1. Pastel de Atum - Cape Verde
2. Congolese Akara - D.R. Congo
3. Mbatata - Malawi
4. Cocada de Cabo Verde - Cape Verde
5. Makrout - Algeria
6. Fried Plantains & Da Bilenni (Jus de Bissap) - Mali
7. Abacate com tuna - Guinea-Bissau
