Today we took a trip to Trakoscan Castle, which is one of the most beautiful and most visited castles in all of Croatia.

There is a stunning park that surrounds the castle, so it's a great place for spending time outside. There's also a gorgeous lake right behind the castle where you can typically rent pedal boats and pedal yourself around the lake. It makes for a perfect spot to take photos of the picturesque Trakoscan.

The museum is all within the castle, and is filled with relics from the Draskovic family, who lived there from the 16-20 centuries. The museum is very authentic, and almost every room is open to visit. It's very interesting to explore, and you can really get a sense of how it felt to live in such a place.

It's the perfect day trip from Zagreb if you love castles and history, and it's only about an hour away, so make a stop if you're able to, you won't regret it!
