Sleepless Drive in Scotland (HWJ Wknd Challenge)

Hi!
For this week's hardware jams challenge, the idea was to jam over a short story and choose the guy the narrator should pick for help. Very interesting!

So I paired the Model:Cycles and the Digitone to tell this story with words and knobs.

The Cycles is mostly in charge of drums. It also brings a little lead at some point. The Digitone is here for arps, pads and the occasional claps and textures.

I added some overdrive on the Model:Cycles Stereo track and Microshift by Eventide on the master track to focus on some frequencies and enhance the stereo field.
I also added multiband compression, a limiter and very slight EQ on the master track.
Everything is recorded in Reaper.
