If you want to make the best Mojito every single time, there's one little detail you don't want to forget.

The lime in a Mojito isn't there strictly for its juice. The oils from the peel is also very important.

That's why we muddle it but by muddling we never know how much juice we gonna get and it makes it very hard to balance with the sugar.

So if you want best of both worlds, watch the video and learn how to make mojito at home like a pro.
Ingredients for the Mojito recipe

- 2 oz Light rum
- 1 oz Lime juice
- 3/4 oz Simple syrup
- About 10 mint leaves
- The shell of half a juiced lime cut in pieces
- 1 1/2 oz Soda water

Method

- Put the mint in the bottom of your glass
- Add the pieces of juiced limes over the mint
- Add the rum and muddle gently
- Add the lime juice and simple syrup and add crushed ice
- Stir to mix and fill all the way up with more crushed ice
- Top with 1.5 oz of soda water
- Garnish with a generous mint sprig
