Polaris Sportsman 1000/850 Air Intake MOD - Keep Water, Mud, Snow and Dust OUT !!

I like to do these little but very important modifications to any off road vehicles. These Outerwears Pre Filters have a special fabric that is waterproof but still lets air go through, filtering all particles larger than 0.005"inches or 0.127milimeters!! This keeps 99% of dust, snow mud and water out of the airbox. This will extend the air filter life and most importantly make sure your engine stays healthy and reliable!! Don't worry about reducing the air flow, when you take the stock intake part you are actually enlarging the intake area, so with this mod you will always have more air available than your engine can use! I believe engine power is actually going to remain stronger for longer periods because it will keep your main air filter cleaner not letting the airflow be reduced!!
Regular oil changes are very important, every 25hours i change my engine oil and filter, oil is cheap, engines are not.
