Join me as I hike into Coire Gabhail, the hidden valley, where the MacDonalds of Glen Coe were reputed to hide their rustled cattle. I set off with great expectations for a fall of snow, but a warm front brings rain. The valley echoes to the sound of water as it cascades over the rocks, creating a fitting soundtrack for the dramatic landscape.
