The film presents all stages of treatment of Huntington's chorea in our hospital in Poland, the diagnosis, the operation of a stimulator implantation and the effects the patient feels after surgery.
The treatment of patients with Huntington's disease takes place in a modern hospital building, where patients can be treated at any stage of the disease. We provide a person suffering from Huntington's chorea with genetic diagnostics, consultation with specialists (neurosurgeon, neurologist, neuropsychologist, psychiatrist, neurologopedist, physiotherapist), DBS treatment and our own individual rehabilitation program.
The patient stays in a comfortable, single room with a bathroom and free access to TV and WiFi.
