How to Teach your Scorpio Child Healthy Boundaries

Are you the parent of a Scorpio sun or Scorpio moon child? Do you need help understanding your Scorpio child’s need for attachment? Do you sometimes feel as if your Scorpio child hovers over you? Do you sometimes feel as if your Scorpio child demands too much of your attention? Are you a parent who struggles with establishing healthy boundaries? Scorpio children need more attention and affection than the average child. In fact, they require close attachment and connection with parents in order to grow into an emotionally healthy adult.

As a fixed water sign, Scorpio identifies very strongly with the emotions of others. Here’s where it may get complicated because emotionally healthy people do not let the emotions of others make them feel certain ways. They can detach and acknowledge that their emotional experiences are different from the experiences of other people. Because Scorpio people are deeply empathic, and seek attachment (often through approval), they run the risk of having poor emotional boundaries. For these reasons, it is essential that you show your Scorpio child how to have healthy boundaries. And it is essential that you work on any boundary and people-pleasing issues that you have as a parent. Here are some tips to do that.
