Today we are going to breakdown, analyze and theorize about every moment from the teaser trailer of Pixar’s newest film Lightyear! To infinity and beyond!

At the end of the Lightyear trailer we get to see Buzz Lightyear’s iconic suit in all of its glory. Dawned with metal and the iconic Buzz colors, it looks awesome, and I’m so hyped to see this suit let loose across the galaxy. I mean this is the suit that will allow Buzz to exist on any planet; he’ll have a laser on his wrist, and of course he will be able to fly! Buzz Lightyear will fly for real, possibly in space!

If you can’t tell I’ve been a Buzz Lightyear fan for most of my life so to see the greatest hero of Star Command on the big screen is going to be epic. I won’t lie, ever since Toy Story 2 I felt like Buzz’s role as a leader fell off. He didn’t have the same type of intelligence, conviction, and heroic nature that he did when he was saving Woody from Stinky Pete, and now we’re going to get to see him be a hero again. Finally, we’re going to get to see the legend of Buzz Lightyear take place as he travels the galaxy, faces off against the evil Emperor Zurg and is welcomed to the Universe Protection Unit of the Space Ranger Corps.
