Cyber Defence The Current State of National and International Co-Operation

For Cyber Security Month 2021, the Irish Defence Forces held a panel discussion focusing on Cyber Defence and the current state of cooperation in the Cyber Domain at a national and international level.

The topics discussed were:
How the EU is coordinating efforts in the Cyber Domain
The work of the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence
How the Defence Forces are co-operating with partners domestically

The speaker panel was drawn from the Defence Forces and consisted of:
Commandant Rónán O’ Flaherty, Researcher at the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence
Commandant Ken Sheehan, Officer Commanding of 1 Brigade Communications & Information Services Company
