Sijo Bruce Lee's martial art - Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do, encompasses many tools and ranges of combat. With the amount of instructors out there, there are as many differences in how someone practices Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do (JFJKD) as there are similarities. One basic hand tool which most people associate with JFJKD is the straight lead also known as the leading straight punch. Traditionally, many practitioners of JFJKD have adopted a power forward lead, so a right lead is generally seen, The definition of a straight lead would be a punch delivered in a straight line by the right hand, either utilizing footwork or from the Bai Jong (ready) stance. One can spend quite a bit of time in studying and perfecting the straight lead, however, there are many other tools for the hands in JFJKD which should not be neglected.
