TME commemorates Otis Redding, one of the greatest American singers & seminal R&B artist, on the 50th anniversary of Otis Redding's Death.Joined Ezra Wheeler of the Memphis Rock n Soul Museum, we discuss the life, music and death of Redding who became synonymous with the term soul. Redding wrote and recorded his iconic "(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay" with Steve Cropper. The song became the first posthumous number-one record on both the Billboard Hot 100 and R&Bcharts. The album The Dock of the Bay was the first posthumous album to reach number one on the UK Albums Chart.
