Important Safety Checks For Your Grass Trimmer
In this video, Amy talks about important safety checks for using and maintaining your grass trimmer.

Many grass trimmers include built-in safety features to keep you and your appliance safe, but there are a few things we all need to know to ensure we are protected when using this appliance.

The first important piece of advice is to ensure you are using the same size and type of trimmer line as outlined in the manufacturer’s instructions. If the wrong one is used, it could cause damage or wear and tear on your appliance. If you need to replace your trimmer line, you can find them on the eSpares website here:

Amongst other advice, Amy also recommends you use an RCD or Residual Current Device when operating your grass trimmer. This plugs into your socket or extension cord and will automatically turn off the electricity if it detects any changes in the current. For example, if you accidentally cut through the trimmer cord, you're better protected from an electric shock with an RCD. They can be found on the eSpares website here:
