In a remarkable fusion of tradition and technology, Unitree Robotics’ H1 humanoid robots recently showcased their dancing prowess at China’s 2025 Spring Festival Gala. Sixteen H1 robots, adorned in floral jackets, performed the traditional Yangge dance alongside human dancers from the Xinjiang Art Institute. This performance, directed by renowned filmmaker Zhang Yimou, highlighted the robots’ advanced capabilities in synchronizing complex movements with human performers. 

The H1 robots are equipped with AI-driven full-body motion control technology, enabling precise and fluid movements. Their participation in the gala underscores China’s commitment to integrating cutting-edge robotics into cultural showcases, reflecting the country’s rapid advancements in this field.
