We had the pleasure of organising a powerful and insightful session in #Karachi between the National Assembly Standing Committee on Poverty Alleviation & Social Safety and over 20 dedicated partner organisations of #PPAF from across #Sindh.
Chairman of the Committee, Mir Ghulam Ali Talpur, along with MNA Mr. Sadiq Ali Memon and Secretary PASS Mr. Navid Sheikh, were warmly welcomed by PPAF Chairperson Mr. Mohammad Tahseen, members of the Board of Directors, and the CEO, Mr. Nadir Gul Barech.
The session highlighted the tangible outcomes of PPAF’s partnership with grassroots organisations working across 27 districts of Sindh, uplifting marginalised communities through inclusive development.
Our partners shared inspiring success stories from the field—testaments to the power of participatory governance and collaborative action.
The meeting concluded on an encouraging note, with Chairman of the Standing Committee, Mir Ghulam Ali Talpur, acknowledging the vital role of civil society organisations and PPAF in building institutional capacity and uplifting marginalised communities across Sindh. He also reaffirmed the government’s and political leadership’s commitment to providing an enabling environment for civil society to continue its mission of poverty alleviation from within the country, with sustained support at the political level.
