Maddie lives in isolation as she writes her novels and when a man who is likely a psychopath shows up at her door, she has to figure out how to survive. This film features an impeccable sound design and relishes in both silence and giving us a full sound design. It is so effective and makes us feel for what Maddie is experiencing.
