I got super excited when this idea came to mind! I have no idea if it's been done already, but if you're looking for a cheap way to make a cute and durable fauxdori cover, look no further than the Dollar Tree! Their placemats are sturdy but still thin; regular placemats may or may not work. If you try it with a thicker mat, please let me know! :)
