NCMSC 2021 - National Camp Midwifery Students Competition - Surakarta

is an annual program [eventhough skipped 2020 due to unpreparedness toward pandemic] called National Camp Midwifery Students Competition (NCMSC), which is the biggest competition that’s ever held for midwifery students of Indonesia. .
For NCMSC, they invited Indonesia midwifery students to compete in four different competitions, including scientific paper, public poster, scientific debate, and vocals for this year.
It is IKAMABINAS (Ikatan Lembaga Mahasiswa Bidan Indonesia)'s program on collab with one of the institution. This year's polkesta get the opportunity to held ncmsc tender because they get the general champion in 2019 comp. Unluckily, ncmsc 2021 has a lot of dissappointment from all its participant across institution. We hope IKAMABINAS could inspect furthermore, especially this institution will held the next ncmsc 2022 due to winning general champion again this year (if still followed the rules that saying "the winner of general champion should held next year's ncmsc") except, IKAMABINAS can give blacklist or something make sense or else we could also in doubt of IKAMABINAS credibility.
In details, there such a bunch strange and unfairness. this is one of the example, from the beginning on technical meeting it said that the judges come from external meanwhile after winning announcement (this comp has end and we're already at home) they just appeal the judges actually mostly from internal [moreover THEY FALSIFYING JUDGES educational history. cover up the truth that the judges is external by not mentioning the name of the institution and instead replacing it with other experiences so as not to be seen from internal. what they forget is that we (participant) are not a dumboo. We have internet, and are able to detect the judges's actual history. Really is unprofessional. even how can one of the debate judges can sleep when the final debate is in progress. They don't respect us at all, the finalists who didn't even sleep last night while compiling their arguments, may it sound ridiculous, our arguments may only be 3-4 sheets and only delivered in 5 minutes each speaker but the process behind it are a lot! analysis and collection of evidence that we have compiled in total of 10 hours!!. even While building motion we realize it is too many argument to be built overnight and we wanted to cry, but we didn't even have time to cry. so how can the judges sleep while we're presenting our argument. it sucks. Eventhough my institution get 2 in 1st place winner, and 1 in third place, we're still acknowledge our own and our competitor capability and we [and another finalist from different institution] agreed that its not the place where we are deserve, its not meant to be. so its why who winning the firs place unsatisfied and who winning the 3rd place felt the unfairness. As if we can make long paper to give the IKAMABINAS all the evidence of this as it is so many.

It's not like we don't know how to thank the organizing committee for this year's NCMSC. but the professionalism of the committee as the organizer is far from expectations and we believe the committee can do much better than this. moreover, this fault is about transparency and honesty which is BASIC. (tbh, we may still be able to tolerate the lack of ABILITY to organize events) . BUT NOT with the CHARACTER. everyone can be honest and transparent if there is a willingness to held fair competition..
