Indonesia is Beautiful! Hiking in Rural Lombok 🇮🇩

Imagine Ubud Bali, but with no tourists… This is Tetebatu, an area to the south of Mount Rinjani National Park in Lombok: where you can see incredible rice fields and waterfalls with no other people around.

We took a 2 hour road trip from Senggigi beach, stopping at the amazing Benang Stokel and Benang Kelambu waterfalls along the way.

From our homestay (Pondok Indah Bungalows) we took a 6 hour guided trek through the countryside, seeing a hidden underground waterfall and even catching a glimpse of the rare Javan Lutung black monkeys.
