Unsung Heroes: The Toughest Job You'll Ever Love

It's 115 degrees and your cooler just broke down. You have no money for repairs. How are you going to survive the summer heat?

If you live in Tucson, Arizona, you're in luck. Every day the nonprofit Community Home Repair (CHRPA) sends out teams to replace swamp coolers, build ramps, and repair tubs so that Tucson's low-income residents can stay in their home for a few more years.

It's brutally hard work - repairing black-top roofs in the stifling summer heat. Fixing furnaces in January. Pulling out leaky shower tubs. And they could earn a whole lot more if they worked somewhere else.

Why do they do it?

Community. Satisfaction. And all the ice cream they can eat.

And twice a year they get to compete in the CHRPA Olympic Games....
