Who is the Father of Science?

Hey everyone! Welcome back to my Channel. where curiosity meets clarity. Today, we're diving into a BIG question:

Who is the Father of Science.

Now, this might sound like a simple question, but the answer? It's a fascinating journey through history. So let’s get into it!
Science didn’t start with a single person. For thousands of years, humans have observed the world, asked questions, and tried to explain nature - from the stars in the sky to the patterns of the seasons.

But when we talk about the "Father of Science", one name stands out above the rest: Aristotle.
Born in ancient Greece around 384 BCE, Aristotle was a philosopher, teacher, and — most importantly — a deep thinker who loved asking why.
He studied everything: biology, physics, astronomy, logic, ethics — you name it.

But what made him truly special?

He believed in observation.
Unlike others who relied mostly on myths or pure thought, Aristotle looked at the world, gathered evidence, and built logical systems to explain what he saw. That’s basically the foundation of what we now call the scientific method.

Because of this, many scholars call him the Father of Science.
Now wait — science didn’t stop with Aristotle! There were others who played HUGE roles:

Galileo Galilei. often called the Father of Modern Science, he used telescopes and experiments to challenge centuries-old beliefs.

Ibn al-Haytham. – a brilliant thinker from the Islamic Golden Age, sometimes called the Father of Optics, who emphasized experimentation.

Isaac Newton. the genius behind the laws of motion and gravity.

So depending on what kind of science you're talking about — physics, biology, optics — you might hear different names.
It’s a bit like asking who invented music — there’s no one answer. But if we had to crown the very first, the one who set the foundation?
Aristotle earns that title.

He laid the groundwork for logic, reasoning, and the idea that knowledge should come from the natural world — not just from faith or tradition.
So next time you look up at the stars or wonder why the sky is blue, just remember — you’re following in the footsteps of thinkers like Aristotle.
