Two 5.8GHz FPV helical antennas compared

So what's the difference between a $10 "made in China" helical FPV antenna and one that costs more than eight times that price?

Even a quick look shows that the cheap product is unlikely to perform to the claimed specifications and appears top lack proper matching and tuning to the frequencies we use for FPV on our RC planes.

I will be flight-testing and comparing both antennas in an upcoming video but in the meantime, I'd suggest you hold off spending your money on the cheap option.
