London on track for highest number of teenage killings in more than a decade

The statistics on the number of deaths from knife crime are stark. Some 548 people were murdered using a knife or bladed object in 2020.

And if that wasn't shocking enough, an even more staggering fact is that the number of teenagers murdered with a knife in London is on the rise. Seventeen teenagers have been murdered this year alone.

The Metropolitan Police say we are now on track for the highest number of deaths in over a decade.
