Lumi Tropicana is a mixed development located close to the intersection between Ara Damansara, Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya, Kota Damansara and Tropicana which is just excellent in terms of accessibility and connectivity. Also to note that this area is considered to be the 'high end' area due to the mansions around Tropicana Golf and Country Club.
As the building is sandwiched between the busy intersection, office buildings and the upcoming MRT track and highway, it's definitely gonna be noisy. Hence the architect designed a huge buffer away from the road, then having the four towers covering the facilities deck. Also, they allocated around 60% of the land area as empty space for residents to enjoy.
However, the interior treatments are subjected to individual preferences. The design approach is somewhat controversial as it's borderline art and unfurnished. The structural elements and heavy cement rendered surfaced can be overwhelming to certain buyers. Besides, the partially tiled washrooms, L shaped windows, absence of skirtings, and the application of single marble texture across the unit seems peculiar as well.
I like the extensiveness of the facilities provided although not all might be practical, as well as the effort of the developer who is constantly improving the existing space and infrastructures.
