CML and treatment updates presented by Dr Peter Browett

Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand’s Winter-Spring Webinar Series this week was ‘CML and Treatment Updates’ presented by Dr Peter Browett, Professor of Pathology and Head of the Department of Molecular Medicine and Pathology at the University of Auckland School of Medicine and Consultant Haematologist at Auckland City Hospital.

Professor Browett provides a clear explanation of CML, with a focus on research comparisons of the newer 2nd generation drugs with current treatment standard Imatinib. He also gives a thorough overview of treatment-free remission, which is now a goal for therapy in CML.
