PureKNF Certification Course (1/6)
This Korean Natural Farming Level 1 training was conducted at Hawaiian Sanctuary by Eric Drake Weinert. The participants of this course were awarded a Level 1 Certificate.
Watching this video will give you the same exposure to Korean Natural Farming. Understanding all the tiny pieces show how it can be built into an operating system.
In Summary:
Korean Natural Farming is made up of 9 core solutions and simplified into two distinct categories of Food and Microbes respectively.
The 7 foods are food (fpj), cleanser (brv), medicine (ohn), structure (wcp), minerals (sea), reproduction (wca), and fuel (faa).
The foods are combined to meet the needs of microbes, plants, animals, and all life. Some foods are for all the time, but most are applied according to the nutrient cycle and the intuition of the farmer.
It's recommended to feed the plants, biology and soil through irrigation or foliar spraying at regular intervals. Application rates are 25 gallons an acre.
The 2 microbes in Korean Natural Farming are IMO and LAB:
1. IMO, Indigenous Micro Organisms are localized and chosen for strength and diversity.
2. LAB, are like the police and emergency workers keeping everything safe.
The whole video series explains each solution in detail giving you the translation and vocabulary needed to become an certified natural farmer.
