COVID-19 Survivor Loses Fingers
Gregg Garfield, one of the first COVID-19 patients in the Los Angeles area, is finally being released from the hospital. He lost fingers on both hands, and survived a lung collapse and kidney failure throughout his fight with the virus. He’s being called a walking miracle by the staff at St Joseph’s Providence Hospital in Burbank, California. In February, the Los Angeles businessman and 13 buddies went skiing in the Italian Alps. Everyone on the trip contracted COVID-19.
