The SES has a simple message for people across much of New South Wales this weekend — stay indoors.
Large parts of the state have been hit by damaging winds and intense rainfall, with the worst still to come for Sydney and the South Coast.
The downpour has already led to 1,500 calls for help, travel delays, and havoc on the roads.
