Making the side casings a little bigger, will make room for the three folds on the sill trim end, when you fold them into there place, the bottom flap 1st, the face flap second, and the top flap last.

On this channel is enough information to begin to learn how to do aluminum trim, BUT, it takes practice.... so start with short pieces and do half of a casing, or half of a window sill, GET USED to using a speed square, to mark cut, or fold locations all the way around pieces, and learn for yourself to allow for where your lines will be located..

I sometimes put the sill on first, then I hook my tape on the inside edge of the casing, and measure over to (three folds on the sill aluminum, it take time/practice...
