PM: Technology partnerships are key to climate change prevention
Prime Minister Scott Morrison says technology partnerships are very important in the move towards a “carbon neutral economy”.
“The problem is how we address a world that is moving to a new energy economy, a new carbon neutral economy … this is where the world is heading, and that has profound implications for Australia,” Mr Morrison told Sky News.
“These are technical tasks, these are practical things that we have to achieve to be successful.”
He said Australia is well-placed for these technological advances.
“The Australian economy has been able to weather the storm better than almost any other advanced economy in the world.”
