NOTE FROM TED: TEDx events are independently organized by volunteers. The guidelines we give TEDx organizers are described in more detail here: http://storage.ted.com/tedx/manuals/tedx_content_guidelines.pdf
India, with one of the youngest populations in the world, is a fast-growing and dynamic market. How can businesses create “painkiller” solutions that solve real problems? This talk delves into the importance of building impactful products that address essential customer needs, offering insights from Harsh’s experiences within India’s vibrant innovation landscape. An alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania and Columbia Business School, Harsh Jain is the CEO & Co-Founder of Dream Sports. He is a passionate believer in building culture-driven organizations and adopting a user-first approach to problem-solving. He has married these beliefs with his love for sports, gaming and technology to create India’s first multi-billion dollar sports tech company, Dream Sports. Under his leadership, Dream11 has become India's leading fantasy sports platform and the first Indian gaming unicorn. He transformed fantasy sports in India into a lucrative industry and forged key partnerships with major leagues such as IPL. He has also co-founded Tech Entrepreneurs Association of Mumbai (TEAM), a not-for-profit organisation focused on advancing the tech startup ecosystem of Mumbai. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
