Horizon’s Cavorite X7 Hybrid-electric Aircraft Offers a Different VTOL Recipe – FutureFlight

Canadian start-up Horizon Aircraft is building a technology demonstrator for its hybrid-electric Cavorite X7 VTOL model. The company’s senior vice president, Phil Kelly, explained to AIN’s Matt Thurber what he thinks sets it apart from other new and existing aircraft, and how inspiration came from Lockheed Martin F-35B fighters landing on aircraft carriers.
