During these tough times, musicians, performers, and service industry people are suffering beyond recall. All of my personal performances have been put on hold or have been cancelled altogether. In response, I have created a series called "For You, From Me". Here's the pitch:
Have you ever wanted a song written about you/for you? I will make your dream come true. For $25 I will write you an instrumental blues song (12 measures) in a jazz style (or any other style), provide you with a PDF version, and a midi MP3. For $50 I will write you a jazz instrumental of a longer form (more measures), send you the PDF and make a YouTube clip in your honor. For $100, I will write you a song with lyrics, no more than 32 bars, send you the PDF, and make a YouTube clip in your honor. For my non musician friends, I have a lot of time on my hands because all of my performances obviously have been cancelled.
