First time reacting to an _official music video_ from Joe Bonamassa — and this one caught me off guard in the best way 🎸

I expected full-blown blues rock. What I got was a soft, driving country rock vibe that feels like sunrise on an open road. The song’s pace pulls you forward, and it makes total sense once you see the video: Joe behind the wheel at sunrise/sunset, the band laid out in studio shots with that clean, slightly shallow depth of field. Nothing fancy, just sharp framing and perspective stacking the musicians to build depth.

You see Joe reading lyrics to the piano player, then to the bass player, then the whole band locking in. It’s the process, stripped back.
And here’s what surprised me most: at the point where he _could_ have gone off with a guitar solo, he didn’t. He held back.
That’s maturity. He chose the song and the lyrics over showing off. That’s rare, and it’s why you can tell even in this early performance that his musical maturity was already there.

If you know Joe for blistering blues solos, this one shows a different dimension. It’s thoughtful, restrained, and it hits different.
