If you work in the shop, go ahead and buy one of these.
This is a simple little tool for marking and layout. MUCH easier to use than a combination or speed square, great for transferring markings. Not sure the 45-degree is exceptionally accurate, or that I would use the square for critical work, but for most layout this can't be beat, especially at the price point compared to the "Blue" company. Had for five days and haven't even put it away yet. It's that handy.
