POV: Flying an AIRBUS A320… In FPV!

Flying an FPV airliner has always been on my list, but this one turned out way better than I ever expected. A few months ago I maidened this E-flite Airbus A320neo LOS as an early release model, and after that first flight I handed it off to Tom Hunt to see what he could do with it. Tom went all-in. He redesigned the nacelles to look more scale, reshaped the wingtips for better handling, and then built out a semi-scale cockpit so the FPV view actually feels like you’re sitting inside an Airbus.

This video is the first full FPV flight with all of his upgrades installed. The difference is night and day. The jet tracks straighter, handles wind better, and the cockpit view completely changes the experience. You really do get that airliner “from the cockpit” feeling when you line up with the runway or bank into a turn.

Huge thanks to Tom for putting so much time into this and turning a standard foam airliner into something that feels way more real than it has any right to. I’ll be doing more flights with this setup as we fine-tune it, but for now... enjoy the first full FPV run of the upgraded A320.
