Seeds Academy Changing Lives through community empowering project

This is the story of Seeds Academy—a school born from one orphan's pain and transformed into hope for 500 children.
My name is William Nuwamanya. I lost my parents when I was just two weeks old. I grew up knowing hunger, loneliness, and struggle. But education gave me a chance at life. Now, I've dedicated my life to giving that same chance to children just like me.
What started with 23 children in 2018 has grown to over 500 students today.
At Seeds Academy in Nyagatare, Rwanda, we don't just teach reading and math. We:

✅ Provide FREE education to orphans and vulnerable children
✅ Feed 500+ children breakfast, lunch, and supper daily
✅ Give goats to families to break the cycle of poverty (256 so far!)
✅ Provide medical insurance for 146 families every year
✅ Train girls in sewing and garment-making for financial independence
✅ Build homes for homeless families
✅ Rescue and reintegrate street children
But we need your help.
Our school desperately needs proper facilities—classrooms, toilets, an administrative building, and solar power. Without these, we cannot continue serving our children with the dignity and excellence they deserve.
