QR and TK are the only airlines where still hot meals are served on this leg in coach.
There are 21 direct flights each way between São Paulo and Buenos Aires with a great variety of aircraft.

TAM: Airbus A320 and A330 (EZE Only)
Qatar Airways: Boeing 777-200LR
Turkish Airlines: Airbus A340-300 between june and 10/30 and Boeing 777-300ER during the rest of the year.

So far Emirates flies to EZE only from Rio de janeiro GIG on a 777-300ER or 777-200LR depending on the season.

As of 2017, Qatar Airways has stared direct flight between Doha and Auckland with Boeing 777-200LR. This is the longest flight currently until Singapore Airlines reinstates their Singapore to New York route, now with an Airbus A350-900. In the past this route was flown with an Airbus A340-500.

I must admit QR is one of my favorite and best airlines with which I've ever traveled, but what is mentioned there sounds quite worrysome.
