Two siblings, Judy and Peter Shepherd, move to a new house with Aunt Nora Shepherd. In the attic, they find an unusual board game, Jumanji. When they play, a rhyming quiz appears, and they're sucked into the bizarre world of Jumanji, where they have to solve the riddle in order to get back home. They meet Alan Parrish, who has been trapped there for many years, and the three of them get into action-packed adventures as they try to help Alan escape.
