Two staff members of the Israeli Embassy in Washington were shot dead while leaving an event at a Jewish museum on Wednesday. The suspect, Elias Rodriguez (30), was arrested on site by event security. Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela Smith said that the two victims-a man and a woman-were shot while exiting with two others, when the suspect approached and opened fire.
