Bernard Henri Lévy: The Genius of Judaism

France's preeminent contemporary philosopher, Bernard-Henri Lévy, confronts his spiritual roots and the religion that has always inspired and shaped him. In his latest work 'The Genius of Judaism', Lévy offers a new vision of what it means to be a Jew, one rooted not in blind observance but in the Talmudic traditions of argument and conflict and borne out in struggle and study. Always a challenging thinker, Lévy provides a surprising critique of the rise of a new form of anti–Semitism and a provocative defense of Israel from the left. Lévy is joined in conversation with Laurance Haim, former Spokesperson for Emmanuel Macron's presidential campaign.
