Phantom FX-61 Pre-Autopilot Test

The FX-61, also known as the Phantom FPV Flying Wing is an ideal wing for the PX4 autopilot.

This was a quick test flight to see how it handles in windy conditions. The day after this installed the PX4 autopilot, GPS, radio, airspeed sensor, buzzer and safety switch in 2.5 hours and we test flew it (stabilised and waypoint flight) in the afternoon in windy conditions (20-30km/h).

The wing has a very low wing-load, it can fly nice and slow but also pretty quickly and handles winds very well. With a 4500mah 3S Lipo in place I flew for just over 20 minutes and used 55% of it's capacity.
